Class Descriptions

  • Grounded  •  Accessible  •  Foundational

    A foundational, breath-led vinyasa designed to build strength, mobility, and confidence. Steady pace, clear guidance, and space to explore the basics of alignment and flow. Open to all levels — especially beginners or anyone returning to their practice.

    Best for: newcomers, those returning after a break, anyone who wants a slower entry into movement.

  • Dynamic  •  Expansive  •  Intentional

    Builds on foundational shapes with more complex sequencing, transitions, and exploration. Moves with intention and rhythm — offering options to deepen your practice while staying grounded in breath.

    Best for: those familiar with basic poses who are ready for more challenge.

  • Powerful  •  Challenging  •  Energizing

    Strength-focused vinyasa designed to build endurance, stability, and resilience. Longer holds, intentional repetition, and moments that ask you to stay present through intensity. A full-body experience that leaves you feeling stronger — physically and mentally.

    Best for: those ready to push their edge and build serious heat.

  • Where yoga meets rhythm. This music-driven flow blends intentional movement with moments of freestyle expression. A liberating, community-centered experience offered as a Happy Hour class on Friday evenings.

    Best for: anyone who wants to move freely, laugh, and feel good in their body.

  • Pairs movement on the pavement with movement on the mat. Begin with a guided run at an accessible pace, then transition into a grounding yoga flow to stretch, strengthen, and restore. Come for the run, stay for the reset. 90 minutes.

    Best for: runners, those who want to add yoga to their cardio routine, community builders.

  •  Soulful  •  Grounding  •  Uplifting

    A signature, heart-centered experience rooted in community, music, and intention. This soulful vinyasa invites you to move, release, and reconnect — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Affirming space, intentional sequencing, collective energy that carries you into the week.

    Offered Sunday mornings by the Black Folx Wellness Collective.

  • Controlled  •  Supportive  •  Foundational

    Low-impact, core-centered class focused on building strength, stability, and body awareness through controlled exercises that support posture, alignment, and functional movement.

    Best for: beginners to Pilates, those recovering from injury, anyone who wants to build from the inside out.

  • An energizing progression of Pilates fundamentals with added complexity, coordination, and endurance work. Longer sequences, layered movements, deeper core engagement.

    Best for: those with Pilates experience who are ready to challenge their control and stamina.

  •  Calming  •  Nourishing  •  Restorative

    A slow, restful practice using props and longer-held poses to release tension, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with stillness. Come as you are. This is your space to soften.

    Best for: anyone who needs rest. No prerequisites. Truly everyone.

    Props — blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets — provided at no charge. Arrive 5–10 minutes early for your first class.
