FlowWell Yoga + Wellness / Yoga for Justice Teacher Training
Code of Conduct
FlowWell Yoga + Wellness and the Yoga for Justice Teacher Training are rooted in the belief that wellness, justice, and community are inseparable. All participants, teachers, staff, and guests are expected to contribute to a space that is respectful, inclusive, and grounded in care.
By participating, you agree to:
Treat all individuals with dignity and respect, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, age, religion, or background
Honor personal boundaries, including physical, emotional, and energetic consent
Engage in practices of accountability, including openness to feedback and repair
Refrain from harmful, disruptive, or unsafe behavior, including discrimination, harassment, or intimidation
Respect the integrity of the space, including timely arrival, appropriate attire, and mindful participation
FlowWell reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior compromises the safety or well-being of the community.
Anti-Harassment Policy
FlowWell Yoga + Wellness maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
Verbal, physical, or visual conduct that demeans, threatens, or targets an individual or group
Unwelcome physical contact or inappropriate adjustments without consent
Sexual harassment, including unwanted advances, comments, or behavior
Discriminatory language or actions based on identity or lived experience
All participants have the right to practice and learn in an environment free from harassment. Any individual found engaging in harassment may be subject to removal without refund and, where appropriate, further action.
Anti-Retaliation Policy
FlowWell Yoga + Wellness strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who:
Reports misconduct or a policy violation
Participates in an investigation
Raises concerns in good faith
Retaliation includes intimidation, exclusion, threats, or any adverse action taken in response to a report.
Any act of retaliation will be treated as a serious violation of our policies and may result in immediate dismissal from classes or training programs.
Grievance Policy
We are committed to accountability, transparency, and repair.
If you experience or witness a concern, harm, or policy violation:
Report the concern as soon as possible to a designated instructor, staff member, or via email (insert studio email)
Reports will be reviewed promptly and handled with as much confidentiality as possible
FlowWell will assess the situation and may initiate a conversation, mediation, or formal review
Outcomes may include restorative dialogue, behavioral agreements, or removal from the program
We aim to approach grievances with care, integrity, and a commitment to collective well-being.
Tuition & Refund Policy (Teacher Training)
Enrollment in the Yoga for Justice Teacher Training requires a financial commitment that supports the integrity of the program.
A non-refundable deposit (amount specified at registration) is required to secure your spot
Full tuition must be paid by the stated deadline unless a payment plan has been arranged
Payment plans must be completed in full regardless of attendance
Refunds:
Cancellations made 30+ days before the start date may receive a partial refund (minus deposit)
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start date are non-refundable
Once the training begins, no refunds will be issued
In cases of emergency, requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at FlowWell’s discretion.
Attendance Policy (Teacher Training)
Consistent attendance is essential to the integrity of the training and certification process.
Trainees are expected to attend all scheduled sessions, including lectures, practices, and assignments
Up to 10% of training hours may be missed with prior notice
Missed hours must be made up through approved assignments or sessions
Excessive absence may result in ineligibility for certification
Punctuality matters. Repeated late arrivals or early departures may be counted toward missed hours.
Studio Attendance & Cancellation Policy (Classes)
To honor the energy of the space and the time of our teachers and community:
Pre-registration is encouraged for all classes
Cancellations must be made at least (e.g., 12 hours) in advance to avoid penalty
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a forfeited class or fee
Please arrive on time; late entry may not be permitted once class begins
